All interactions between becky and amber

Rebecca “Becky” Williams (born December 11, 1991) is a former partner of Amberlynn Reid. She appeared regularly on Amberlynn’s YouTube channel from 2017 to 2021, making her Amberlynn's longest on-camera relationship to date. Becky is known among viewers for her interests in 90s pop culture, anime (notably Naruto), horror media, video games, and drawing.

Relationship with Amberlynn Reid (2017–2021)

Becky and Amberlynn began dating in 2017, shortly after Amberlynn’s breakup with Destiny. In late 2017, Amberlynn moved in with Becky and her close friends, Eric and Ricky. This period became known among viewers as the “Gaycare Era”, marked by group vlogs, game nights, and sit-down content featuring all four roommates. Becky was often seen playing drawing, going on shopping trips with Amberlynn or participating in Mario Party and Mario Kart sessions.

Throughout this time, Amberlynn was frequently criticized by viewers for continuing to express not so subtle feelings for Destiny, either by hanging out often (disguised as "double dates" with Amberlynn, Becky, Destiny and Dana) or through attempting to "buy" her love with grocery and shopping trips vlogged frequently. Although Destiny had moved on and was in a new relationship with Dana, Amberlynn’s lingering attachment remained a recurring topic in vlogs, often placing Becky in an awkward dynamic. Becky herself maintained a reserved public presence and was generally perceived as quiet and less engaged with the YouTube channel than Amberlynn’s previous partner.

In 2019, Becky appeared visibly unwell during a vlog filmed on her 29th birthday. She was on psychiatric medication at the time and later referred to herself as being like a “zombie” during this era. In the video, Becky exhibits slurred speech and slowed movements, while Amberlynn is seen excitedly showing off a sugar-free cake. This period sparked viewer concern and speculation, with some suggesting Becky's health, mental and physical, had declined significantly during her relationship with Amberlynn. However, Becky has since stated that the medication and mental health played a large role in her behavior at the time.

In 2020, Amberlynn was diagnosed with uterine cancer. Becky was actively involved during this period, often driving Amberlynn to medical appointments and assisting her at home. Around the same time, Becky’s mother, Norma Jean Williams, passed away on July 24, 2020, at age 54. Becky was listed in the obituary as “Rebecca Williams (Amber Lynn) of Lexington.”

In February 2021, Becky proposed to Amberlynn, and the couple became engaged. The engagement lasted only a few months. On June 29, 2021, they announced their breakup during a livestream titled we have something to tell you…. Becky stated that she ended the relationship. Both cited a lack of mutual support regarding their respective weight loss and mental health goals. While the livestream was initially cordial, tensions between the two became more apparent in subsequent content. During one argument on a different livestream, Becky leaned in and whispered to Amberlynn, Who’s the one that’s been wiping your ass?”, a moment that later circulated widely among viewers.

YouTube Channel and Post-Breakup Activity

Following her breakup with Amberlynn Reid, Becky continued to post sporadically on her YouTube channel, often reappearing after long absences to launch new GoFundMe campaigns citing issues such as car damage and financial instability. In 2023, she publicly confirmed a relationship with Dakota Kidd, a figure loosely connected to the “gorl world” orbit. However, controversy soon followed when Kiwifarms user Hayduraide resurfaced disturbing content from Dakota’s old Tumblr account, davestrider. Among the posts were inappropriate interactions with minors and self-applied labels such as “shota king”, a reference to a controversial and often criticized anime trope involving the sexualization of young boys.

Becky responded publicly to the revelations, stating she and Dakota had already decided to separate. In a lengthy statement, Becky condemned Dakota’s past behavior as “inexcusable” and emphasized that she would not defend the posts or attempt to justify them. While she expressed that she did not believe Dakota to be a predator, she acknowledged the harm caused and made it clear that the relationship had ended, and Dakota would no longer be mentioned or featured in her content. Becky also addressed the intense scrutiny she faced from online audiences, calling attention to the difference between accountability and harassment, and requested that viewers refrain from targeting Dakota or her family. She announced a break from YouTube, citing emotional exhaustion and a need to reflect and reset following the fallout.

As of 2025, Becky uploads inconsistently and has not maintained a regular content schedule. Her role in the Amberverse remains significant due to her long-term presence, her post-breakup disclosures, and her involvement in several widely discussed events within the community.
